A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Habibullah was reportedly killed in Pakistan by unknown gunmen on the evening of December 17. According to reports, Habibullah was also a recruiter for LeT and was killed after unknown gunmen attacked him in Khyber Paktunkhwa's Tank district.

Notably, the reports are yet to be confirmed about the terrorist's killing. This marks another instance of mysterious deaths and killings of individuals associated with terror groups in Pakistan.

Habibullah, who is the cousin of PTI leader Dawar Khan Kundi, is said to have been involved in Pulwama and Uri attacks in Kashmir.

This comes just about two weeks after a Lashkar terrorist and Pulwama mastermind Adnan Ahmed was shot dead in Pakistan's Karachi. Ahmed was also a close aide of Hafiz Saeed, who formulated the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. He too, was fired upon by unidentified gunmen.
