Lionel Messi appears to have tattooed Noel Fielding's face on his back

While football star Lionel Messi walked back to his dressing room, his fans could not help notice the tattoo on his back. Caught on camera, the tattoo looked remarkably similar to English comedian Noel Fielding and the fact was highlighted by the man himself. The erstwhile star of The Mighty Boosh shared the footage on his Twitter handle with the caption: "I always knew Messi would get a tattoo of me on his back one day x (sic)." 

The video was filmed when the Barcelona and Argentina forward striker was entering his team’s dressing room following the 4-1 win over Celta Vigo during the weekend. Since the camera followed him from behind, the tattoo on his left shoulder blade was clearly visible. However, the tattoo is believed to be of Messi's mother Celia María Cuccittini. However, from a distance, the uncanny resemblance between Messi's mother's dark har to Fielding locks cannot be missed.

Fielding pointed this out to fans in a hilarious tweet who were no less delighted. While a few showed off their own Fielding tattoos, some pointed out how its cracking people up. Another pointed pot that Messi might just be "a big fan of his teammate, the Mighty Busquests". While another tweeted: "You know this means you need a tattoo of messi with his tattoo of you now (sic)".
