Russian special police forces detained on Sunday night a man who fired a rifle from his apartment in Moscow, injuring two people.
The man who has still not been identified, was reportedly shooting a semi-automatic rifle Saiga at people passing by his home.
According to eyewitnesses, one man was injured in the leg and a woman was shot in the hand.
Russian law enforcement said the man opened fire on National Guard troops who raided his flat and was wounded upon detention.

The motives of the shooter are unknown.
The Federal Investigative Committee filed charges of attempted murder, hooliganism and attempt upon the life of a law enforcement agent.
