A spooked Pakistan has begged India to not go on the offensive and maintain peace between the two nations after Indian Air Force on Wednesday thwarted an infiltration attempt by Pakistan aircrafts.

Three Pakistan aircrafts tried to intrude into the Indian territory, but found no way inside as the MiG 21 Bison of the Indian Air Force shot down one of their jets and forced the other two to go back.

After witnessing yet another failure, Pakistan went on the defensive and tried to shift the blame for the tense relations between the two nations on India. Asif Ghafoor, the spokesperson of Pakistan armed forces, made a laughable statement saying that it is Pakistan which wishes to have peace in the region.

"We can do anything, but we don't want to erupt peace. We wish to have peace, not war. The state of Pakistan and our forces want peace, and we are capable of it. We want to follow the path which leads to peace. It is up to India now. If they choose aggression, then we will respond in a similar manner. But we want whatever is good for the region," he said.

While their claim that they shot down two Indian aircrafts has been found to be completely false, Pakistan is in denial that their own jet was brought down by the Indian Air Force. And in order to keep the false narrative going, Pakistan army has pleaded the media channels in their country to not run the latest developments.

"Pakistan media has done the journalism of peace, and today's reporting is an example of it. We are capable but our message is for peace. We don't war," the PAF spokesperson added.

The Pakistan Air Force F-16 was brought down in the Lam Valley in Nowshera sector. Furthermore, as per eyewitnesses, a parachute was seen as the Pakistani fighter jet went down.

The shooting down of the F-16 was part of the Indian Air Force's successful confronting and pushing back of Pakistani jets in two sectors of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday after an infiltration attempt into Indian airspace. Pakistan has closed its own airspace following India bringing down its fighter jet.

The incursion comes a day after the Indian Air Force had successfully eliminated terror training camps in Pakistan and PoK which were functioning with full impunity. The very fact that Pakistan tried to use official assets to come into Indian air space, just a day later, is only a further corroboration of the narrative that they fully support those in the JeM, the LeT and the Hizbul Mujahideen camps eliminated by India.
