A Pakistani man, who was arrested over the death of a police officer in the UK in 2005, faced an extradition hearing in Islamabad on Wednesday.

71-year-old Piran Ditta Khan is accused of being in connection with Sharon Beshenivsky's murder in Bradford.

After his client faced court on Wednesday, lawyer Raja Ghaneem Abir Khan said that he would seek a trial "in Pakistan instead of (the) UK."

Khan was remanded in custody and is due to face court again in February.
