Under pressure from UNSC, Pakistan has issued the UNSC Freezing and Seizure Order 2019 against designated terror groups/individuals. The move has come 13 years after Hafiz Saeed who is a co-founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and the chief of Jama'at-ud-Dawah was designated by UN as a terrorist.

Under pressure from UNSC, Pakistan has issued the UNSC Freezing and Seizure Order 2019 against designated terror groups/individuals.
The move has come 13 years after Hafiz Saeed who is a co-founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and the chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawah was designated by UN SC as a terrorist.
The order states that the objective of the UNSC Freezing and Seizure Order 2019 is to streamline the procedure for implementation of Security Council Sanctions against designated individuals and entities.
The order states that it has been formulated in line with UNSC and FATF standards.
