London: A video of the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate Middleton, entering the Westminister Abbey in London on a hit Bollywood song from the film ‘Bodyguard’ featuring Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan, has grabbed the netizens' attention.
This video comes hours after King Charles and Queen Camilla's video of entering the church on another popular Bollywood song, ‘Dhoom Macha Le’. The video sparked a meme fest on the internet.
The royal couple, in a rather shocking move, were welcomed to the iconic church in London, for the annual Commonwealth Day Service, on the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor-starrer hit Bollywood song, ‘Teri Meri Prem Kahani', from the film ‘Bodyguard’. Kate Middleton, who looked lovely in a red dress, entered the church with her husband, Prince William, on this song sung by Shreya Ghoshal; the two could be seen smiling and interacting with the officials who received them at the entrance.
The song was performed by a Hindu Scottish pipe band, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band, who shared the video of the same on their social media account on ‘Instagram’. In the video, the Princess of Wales can also be seen smiling and acknowledging the band before walking inside.
The Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band, shared the video with a long caption, terming the event as a celebration of unity, heritage and culture.
The band's caption read, “Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band were honored to perform at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in the esteemed presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Princess of Wales! A truly unforgettable moment celebrating unity, heritage, and culture.”

The video has come as a big shock to netizens, especially Indians, who at first, refused to believe that this video is real. Over 500 people have left comments under the video, on this unexpected crossover of the Royal Family and Bollywood.
While one user has asked, “Do they know what songs are these?”, the other has questioned, “Is this AI?”. Another user, whose comment has gotten over seven thousand likes said, “No they did not play that! Are you kidding me?” Stickers and GIFs have flooded the caption section of the Instagram post.
