A puma was spotted roaming the largely-deserted streets of the Chilean capital Santiago on Tuesday. It was seen walking along a pavement and then jumping over a wall.
The puma was later restrained by officials from Chile's Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) and taken to the national zoo. It is said to be in good health. Officials believe it is a wild puma that came down from the hills and was able to approach the city because there were so few people on the streets, as a result of coronavirus precautions.
