A boy from the UK's Shrewsbury who is just 9 years old has become a doodle sensation overnight. Joe Whale is a doodle artist who reportedly got into trouble at school for doodling. Yet it was his art teacher who recognized his talent and posted the very first photographs of his doodles for the first time. Just then, a restaurant named Number 4 in the town asked him to doodle on their entire wall!
As Joe was good at drawing, he was sent to drawing class by his parents. Soon after his teacher posted his doodles, he got this golden opportunity of doing a wall and is now called the 'Doodle Boy'. With his break as a doodler, Whales has created an entire Instagram account for his doodles where he posts his works regularly. He also has an entire website that goes by the name Doodle Boy. Joe's drawings come from every day and are sometimes thematic. His Instagram page exhibits many which fall in both categories. Take a look at some of his artwork:
Joe's father Gregory Whales said in a media interview that his son Joe was gifted since childhood and so also made it to the gifted register at school. He said that his son had always loved to draw. Speaking of Joe doodling the restaurant wall, his father said that Joe took around 12 hours to do the wall. He shared that Joe just makes them on his own and never refers to examples or pictures to remake them. The child's father also urged other parents to encourage their kids into following their passion.
