Anti government rally begins in Bangkok

Anti-government protesters rallied in Bangkok on Sunday, beginning at the Democracy Monument.

Pro-monarchy protesters also held their own demonstration nearby.

The anti-government protesters want Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha to step down, the constitution to be amended to make it more democratic, and the monarchy reformed to make its activities more transparent and accountable.
