Argentine women took to the streets in Buenos Aires on Tuesday in solidarity with Iranian protests.

The feminist movement in Argentina joined the international outcry for Mahsa Amini, an Iranian Kurdish woman who died in custody after being detained by the morality police.

The group carried out the demonstration in front of Iran's Embassy in Buenos Aires.

Demonstrators showed banners depicting the Iranian government as a "religious dictatorship" and crying for "justice" after the woman's death.

Unrest unfolded in Iran over the death of 22-year-old Amini, who was arrested in Tehran last week for allegedly wearing her Islamic headscarf too loosely.
