Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) economic ministers on Thursday held a special online meeting to address the challenges and actions for economic cooperation during the coronavirus pandemic.

Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) economic ministers on Thursday held a special online meeting to address the challenges and actions for economic cooperation during the coronavirus pandemic.
Tran Tuan Anh, Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade, said the meeting aimed to "restore stability" to the countries economies and "promote sustainable growth".
Before holding the meeting with their Chinese, South Korean and Japanese partners the ministers from the ten nation bloc held a separate meeting to finalise the Hanoi action, which highlights the importance of further cooperation and maintaining the continuity of the supply chain under the impacts of COVID-19.
