Ash Ketchum finally becomes a Pokemon master trainer after 22 years

Pokemon, saw its protagonist, Ash Ketchum, and his Pikachu, try and fulfill his quest of becoming a master trainer in a world full of numerous challenges.

The much-loved anime show, Pokemon, saw its protagonist, Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu, try and fulfill their quest of becoming a master trainer in a world that saw him go through numerous challenges along with his friends Misty and Brock. Pokemon's title song "wanted to be the very best like no one ever was" has finally held true to its meaning after Ketchum finally won the title of a Master trainer after 22 years. 

After 22 years

The latest episode titled Pokemon: Sun & Moon, saw the much-loved character win the competition of the Aloha League, the first time that Ash won an official tournament in the Pokemon League, making him achieve a long-time dream of becoming a master trainer.

One of the notable tweets congratulating Ash came in from Veronica Taylor, the person behind Ash's voice for the first 8 seasons. She congratulated Pokemon's fictional character, Ash.

The feat achieved by Ketchum saw a lot of congratulatory tweets pouring in by a lot of fans who also said that the show, in its own unique way, taught people that it is not a bad thing to lose.

A tweet by Deeqa Ali said that trying to be the best, travelling far for over 20 years, catching all the pokemon and training them was Ash Ketchum's goal. 

A user said that Ash became the best like no one ever was and that to from a summer tour to the first Alohan champion. He further added that his inner child was crying out of happiness.

 A 'Red Carpet' premiere

The Pokemon cartoon premiered in Japan in the year 1997 and became an instant hit. It was created after being inspired by the video games of the same name created by Nintendo for the Game Boy. This cartoon was designed around fictional creatures classified under the fire, water, grass, electric, ground, psychic, etc. categories who were caught in a Pokeball by trainers who later trained them for various competitions in the Pokemon world.
