Australia: Man punches his way out of Crocodile's 'Crotch Attack'

A man by the name of Hunter Elston Lami recently escaped from a crocodile in Australia that tried to bite him on the crotch by punching it a total of 4 times

A man by the name of Hunter Elston Lami recently escaped from a crocodile that tried to bite him on the crotch by punching it a total of 4 times. Hunter was in shallow water near Minjilang on Croker Island in Australia when he stepped on the crocodile. 
While speaking to a local media outlet, Hunter stated that he had initially climbed on the back of the crocodile for about 15 seconds. He said that it was his cousin who told him that he was standing on the back of a crocodile and that is when the reptile knocked him over. He further added that the reptile started moving violently because of which he hit the bank and that is when the crocodile attacked.

Punches his way to safety

Lami said that the giant reptile bit one of his legs but he was able to free himself after continuously kicking and punching the crocodile. He also said that he was continuously dragging himself up the bank, he saw the crocodile coming at him with his jaws open and as he spread out his left leg, the crocodile caught on to the shorts he was wearing. Lami also said that he was holding the Jaw with his right hand as he punched the crocodile a total of 4 times with his left hand.

Hunter also said that the crocodile did not give up biting him and came back for more. According to Hunter, it was the inspiration of his two daughters that helped him survive this ordeal.

'I ran for my life'

Lami said that he saw the crocodile coming out of the water and chasing him and that prompted him to run for his life even though his left leg was profusely bleeding. He was receiving treatment at the Minjilang Community Health Centre before being shifted to Royal Darwin Hospital.

Although he was in a stable condition, it was the first time that he was attacked by a crocodile and said that he will not think twice before wading through murky waters or creeks.
