The kind gesture

It's not always about winning or scoring that makes a game exciting. Rather the spirit of every game is to bring joy and teach leadership. This was very well understood by the students at Topsail Elementary School. In the video, several students are seen playing basketball with their classmate Francis Veras Espina, who is on a wheelchair. In spite of playing among themselves, the students thought of making him join them. They run a play so Francis could dunk the ball with the help of his teammates. This ends with all of them celebrating. This very moment was captured and shared by the school teacher on the school's Facebook page which has garnered loads of views and plaudits since it's been posted.

Espina is part of the school’s Adaptive Exceptional Children’s Program

As per the reports by the American media, the school district authorities, Pender County Schools told that all the students were in the same grade. The teachers first noticed the fifth graders inviting students from Topsail Elementary School’s Adaptive Exceptional Children’s Program — of which Espina is a part — to play with them during their shared recess a day before the viral video was shot.
