Dozens of Brazilians showed their support to US President Donald Trump in front of the US Embassy in Brasília on Sunday.

Around 60 people dressed in Brazilian and American colours, with flags from both countries and also from Israel were cheering, kneeling and praying for Trump's re-election and recovery from COVID-19.

"Our goal here today is to support our President Trump, who's a conservative, right wing," said Lucia Otoni, coordinator of the Conservative Street Movement.

"He's a person that is very aligned with our moral values, our faith, to change these countries," said the 48-year-old.

A car, which replayed different versions of the United States National Anthem, also had Brazilian and American colours, alongside a banner with the Statue of Liberty together with the Statue of Christ the Redeemer.

Renan Sena said he believed Trump would quickly recover.

"With all the protocols that already exist today, we believe that he will be cured," Sena said.

The US president remained at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as of Sunday, where he's being treated after being tested positive for COVID-19.
