Safaris can get wilder than expected, as American tourist, Jennifer Shimek found out while on a safari in Africa's Serengeti when a Cheetah made itself at peace atop a Jeep full of American tourists. The video zeroes in on the moment when the wild animal rested itself atop a vehicle and peeked at the terrified tourists inside the vehicle. The video has gone viral as netizens show concern for the animal along with hilarious comments.

The viral incident

According to reports, Jennifer Shimek described the encounter as a once-in-a-lifetime incident. Jennifer's family was at the centre of it all and watched horrified from the back of the vehicle. In the video, Shimek can be heard saying, "Oh my god he is on top of the car and he is going to jump in." 

The Cheetah though seemed unfazed at the chaos it had caused and calmly walked on to the top of the vehicle before resting. Shimek meanwhile can be heard in the background saying that she hopes that cheetah does not come at her and her family. Her daughter in the midst of the incident laughs at her mother's reaction. The Cheetah later can be seen feeling bored jumped off into the wild. 

According to reports, Shimek said that she could not believe it and was so scared that she hoped that it did not come to their vehicle. She also asked her guide as to the steps she should take if Cheetah comes into the Jeep and his response shocked her. Her guide told her to very still to which she asked him if he was crazy. The guide then highlighted that getting out of the vehicle is much more dangerous since there were other animals in the vicinity.

Despite all this Shimek narrated that it was amazing to see how beautiful that cheetah was and up so close.

The video already has thousands of views and has had several reactions among netizens among them were several hilarious reactions. A user commented "My favorite animal on this planet." Another asked Jennifer, "Where exactly is Tanzania?"

Another user said, "The animal understands English? Wow."
