Domestic flight operations resume in Pakistan

The first Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight carried 84 passengers departed from Pakistan's port city Karachi for Lahore, along with flights for Lahore and Islamabad operated by a private airline.

Domestic flight operations from five major airports in Pakistan resumed on Saturday, as the country continues to gradually ease lockdown measures.

The first Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight carried 84 passengers departed from Pakistan's port city Karachi for Lahore, along with flights for Lahore and Islamabad operated by a private airline.

Pakistan has reported 31 more deaths from coronavirus, raising virus-related fatalities to 834.Pakistan has 38,799 confirmed cases and the increase in infections also coincides with a growing number of daily tests being carried out in this country of 220 million.
