European Union foreign ministers on Monday welcomed the results of a conference on Libya that took place in Germany over the weekend.
The conference, which included the leaders of Libya's two main rival leaders, agreed to respect a much-violated arms embargo, hold off on military support to the warring parties and push them to reach a full cease-fire.
Arriving for a meeting in Brussels on Monday, EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell said the conference created "a good momentum" for a solution to the Libyan conflict.
Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek said his EU counterparts would discuss Libya later in the day.
