The UK officially left the EU at 11 pm GMT on Friday, but is now in a transition period while negotiations take place over trade and movement.
Ferries continued moving after the official time of withdrawal, with ferries leaving Calais and others arriving at Dover.
Ferries and other major forms of goods transport have been a big part of negotiations between the EU and the UK, with questions raised over the impact of possible increased border checks which may come with restricted freedom of movement.
