On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Louvre Pyramid in Paris. A French artist that goes by the name JR, has created a collaborative piece of art on the scale of the Napoleon Court. He has returned to the same venue after three years, where in his last project he made the Louvre pyramid disappear from one view and it appeared different from another angle, like a magician.

This time he has mesmerised the public, with his new project, where has made this breath-taking and massive optical illusion on the ground that can be seen from the sky as well.

He posted the images on Twitter and Instagram and said:

“The images, like life, are ephemeral. Once pasted, the art piece lives on its own. The sun dries the light glue and with every step, people tear pieces of the fragile paper. The process is all about the participation of volunteers, visitors, and souvenir catchers. “

“This project is also about presence and absence, about reality and memories, about impermanence,” said JR.

JR has beautifully played with the Louvre Pyramid that is known for its modern and futuristic architecture, and he has brought a new light to the famous monument by this gigantic collage.

Netizens flooded the posts with comments praising his artwork:

On Instagram too, people could not stop with the praises:
