Protesters on Thursday joined the funeral procession in Baghdad for a protester who was badly hurt in clashes almost two months ago.
Ameer Abdulkareem was shot on October 27 while protesting in the Iraqi capital.
He had been in a coma since until he passed away on Wednesday.
The protesters followed his coffin around Tahrir Square and onto al-Jumhuriya Bridge, where Abdulkareem was shot.
Hundreds have been killed in the leaderless mass protests that have been ongoing in Iraq since October 1.
