Hong Kong: Amid protests, elderly man's bottle flip cheers everyone up

While all the stories about the ongoing protests in Hong Kong have been about the magnitude of violence, this video of an old man doing the bottle flip challenge has made headlines for other reasons. The bottle flip challenge that gained popularity not too long ago was being performed by an old man ear a closed Mass Transit Railway (MTR) station on September 7 during the protest.

The video and the reactions of the netizens
In the video, the old man can be seen conversing with the Police before the police left, clearing the scene. He tried the bottle flip and failed the first three times. However, the elderly man nailed it on the fourth attempt, triggering an elated reaction from the crowd around him. The man then can be seen then walking towards the police and talking to them, who left the location soon after.

This video immediately triggered the attention of the netizens and was flooded with likes and reactions.
There were citizens playing with bottle flip challenge when the police sealed off the Tung Chong mtr station. They cheered for the old man who succeeded.
