Tensions escalate in Hong Kong

Hong Kong has faced escalating vandalism against the shops and train stations and assaults by both protesters and pro-Beijing supporters on the other side during the recent days. The executive leader of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam called the blocking of the morning commute "a very selfish act". On Monday a police officer shot a man in the abdomen during a struggle with the protestors. In another neighborhood, a  person was set on fire alive amid an argument. Another video of an incident showed a policeman on a motorcycle riding through a group of protestors in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
