An Indonesian government official said on Wednesday that the country is sending face masks to its nationals in China who are affected by a new virus.
At the request of its embassy in China, 10,000 masks have been ordered for distribution to Indonesians in the country.
In a news conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, Foreign Affairs spokesperson Judha Nugraha said there were 243 people in "quarantine zones" in China.
Indonesia, Asia's third most populous country, has no confirmed cases of the coronavirus outbreak.
