Iran threatens to retaliate any Israeli attack

Iranian Defence Minister General Amir Hatami harshly warned Israel over any possible aggression against his country, stating that the Supreme Leader has ordered preparedness for attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa, state television reported.

Hatami's warning came after accusations made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Iran was behind an attack on an Israeli ship in the Gulf of Oman in late February.

Hatami, who was giving a speech in Tehran, said Israel was not in Iran's league and not in a position to threaten it. He added that razing Israel was on Iran's agenda and was carefully planned out if Israel dare any aggression against it.
