American actress Jamie Lee Curtis is all set to produce a military drama 'Chain of Command' teaming up with April Fitzsimmons and Berlanti productions.

American actor Jamie Lee Curtis is all set to produce a military drama Chain of Command teaming up with April Fitzsimmons and Berlanti productions that have received a put pilot order at Fox. The Chain of Command is a project of one hour that narrates the story of a young Air Force investigator who heads back to her hometown to be a part of the military task force that does not want her, a family who has traumatized her and confront the secrets that drove her away.

Curtis planned to act in the series 

Fitzsimmons who is an Air Force veteran and Curtis worked on the project together with the former writing the story. According to the sources, Curtis planned to act in the series as well but currently, there is no such acting deal for her in place. Earlier April has collaborated with Berlanti productions on military dramas Valor and Doom Patrol with Fitzsimmons essaying episodes of both the Berlanti-produced shows. Her other credits include Chicago PD and Chicago Justice.

Curtis produced a sitcom about a family-run funeral home

It marks the second year in a row that Curtis has set up a project at one of the broadcast networks. She produced a sitcom about a family-run funeral home. In addition to her role in the Halloween franchise, Curtis has starred in films such as A Fish Called WandaTrading PlacesMy Girl, and True Lies. She has also appeared on both the seasons of the  Ryan Murphy-produced Fox anthology series Scream Queens. Her other recent TV roles include New Girl and NCIS. Jamie Lee Curtis made her debut film in 1978 as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's horror film Halloween. The film established her as a "scream queen", and she appeared in a string of horror films in 1980, including The Fog, Prom Night, and Terror Train. She reprised the role of Laurie Strode in four sequels, including Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), Halloween: Resurrection (2002), and Halloween (2018).
