Jerseys that belonged to Michael Jordan, Colin Kaepernick and former U.S. President Barack Obama were sold for world record prices at auction on Friday. U.S. based Julien's Auctions sold the items during a four-day virtual auction with the three jerseys going for a combined US$640,000.

Jordan's jersey was his signing day number 23 jersey that he held up during his first press conference upon signing with the Chicago Bulls and went for US$320,000, which is the most expensive Jordan item ever auctioned.

President Obama's jersey, also a number 23, was from his high school days and sold for US$192,000 - a world record for a high school jersey sold at auction. A signed Colin Kaepernick jersey from his debut NFL game with the San Francsico 49ers went for US$128,000.
