Man lucky to be alive after bungee rope snaps mid-jump, incident caught on video

There is such a thing as too much adventure sometimes, even for seasoned thrill-seekers. A terrifying video that is being circulated online shows a man bungee jumping and his rope snapping mid-air. 

A video posted by onlookers present at the Rady Europy theme park in Gdynia in Poland will make your heart stop. The footage shows the jumping platform being elevated at to a considerable height for the bungee jump. As soon as the platform is pulled to the ideal height, the man pops out of it. The adrenaline junkie, however, did not see what's coming next. As he approaches closer and closer to the ground, the bungee rope can be seen unraveling and as its elasticity kicks in, at about the point where the jumper would need to slow down and fast, the rope snaps. Fortunately, the man safely landed on the inflated cushion on the ground right below the platform. As per reports, he was taken to a hospital where doctors said that he had suffered major internal injuries.

As per reports, cops found a tear in the bungee jumping line but it's not been confirmed as the reason for the mishap. In addition, there were also reports of the man being under the influence of alcohol when he jumped off the platform. The Bungee Club has reported that the man suffered internal injuries and even cervical spine injuries along with a broken spleen.
