A video of farmers in Idaho trying to help another farmer to protect his potato harvest during the onset of the winter season was widely shared on social media

Farmers in Idaho are facing problems in harvesting their crops during the winter season. A video of farmers trying to help another farmer to protect his potato harvest went viral on social media. Netizens appreciated the sense of brotherhood displayed by the community. The Idaho farmers have been scrambling this week as winter approaches. 

Farmers experience hard times during winters 

Idaho, which is located in the northwestern part of the United States, is known for its beautiful landscapes, vast areas of greenery and breathtaking outdoor recreational areas. Recently the region experienced the early taste of winter, many parts of Idaho were covered under snow with freezing temperatures in certain areas. The onset of Winter has left many troubled as the farmers are unable to find enough time to harvest their crops. This is a serious concern for the Idaho community. The global media reported that a farmer residing near Hamer, which is a small Idaho community, has his potatoes yet to be harvested. The potatoes were grounded and the weather department reported a hard freeze to arrive in the area.

The convoy of farmers reach to rescue

As the news spread among other farmers, they decided to help. The group of farmers grabbed their equipment to help the farmer in need and eventually headed to his property. The video of the incident was captured and posted on social media. Jason Larson was one of the farmers who captured the video of the convoy arriving at the farm. In the video, one can see the bad weather conditions. The convoy of farmers reaches to rescue the potatoes while the snow is falling and freezing cold winds are blowing. One can see many vehicles approaching for help. Larson also reported that the process of harvesting was completed by 8 in the evening, as the temperature was expected to hit 12 degrees at midnight.

People want to see good things

Larson posted the video on Facebook, from where it was shared on social media. He captioned video "Meanwhile in Idaho". The video received more than 2 million views. He was shocked at the number of views the video was able to gather, he expressed that the response to the video shows that people want to see good things.
