Government's progress

The authorities were still investigating the place of origin and the history of the skulls, according to a spokesperson for the attorney general's office. The office said that a group of investigators has also found knives, 40 jawbones, the fetus, and 30 leg or arm bones inside the den. The spokesperson said that it is still unclear whether the fetus was human. Tepito is situated north of the capital's historic centre and has been famous for a long time due to its illegal commercial activities. The release of almost all the suspects arrested in the raid on the hidden tunnels and suspected drug laboratories in Tepito can be seen as a progress of the government which has faced a lot of challenges struggling to get a hand on the dreadful gang violence.
