Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Saturday warned that Japan was at a critical stage in dealing with coronavirus infections but that the nation had yet to come to a point to declare a state of emergency.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Saturday warned that Japan was at a critical stage in dealing with coronavirus infections but that the nation had yet to come to a point to declare a state of emergency.
He also said Japan planned to put together an economic package bigger than what was implemented in the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2008, but gave no details.
