PM on Israeli virus preps, visits hospital facility

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting Wednesday at a hospital set to accept Israeli patients from cruise ship.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting Wednesday at a hospital set to accept Israeli patients from cruise ship.

Netanyahu hoped the Israelis "finally released from the infected ship" are not infected.

He addeds that concerned authorities were trying to delay  "as much as possible the virus from coming to Israel."

Three Israelis have tested positive for the deadly new virus, and are looked after by Japanese health authorities.

According to Israeli media, 15 Israelis are aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which has docked at Yokohama, a port city southwest of Tokyo.

After their expected return early Friday, Israelis will be taken to Sheba Medical Center for quarantine.
