Poland FM: Brazil President to visit Poland

During a press conference in Brasilia, Czaputowicz stressed the desire for both nations to develop cultural cooperation, including the exchange of students.

Poland's Foreign Minister on Tuesday said he and his Brazilian counterpart discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two nations in the areas of economy, trade and defense, something they were working out prior to the visit of Brazil's president to Poland.

During a press conference in Brasilia, Czaputowicz stressed the desire for both nations to develop cultural cooperation, including the exchange of students.

"It will be worked out in the next weeks and months before the visit of President (Jair) Bolsonaro, we hope, within a few months, in Poland," he during a join press conference in Brasilia with his counterpart Ernersto Araújo.Czaputowicz and Araújo also discussed matters on freedom of religion, Middle East peace talks and cooperation between both countries, during their Tuesday meeting.

Both ministers will travel to Washington D.C. to meet with other leaders for the launching of the International Religious Freedom Alliance.Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro is expected to visit Poland this year, which marks 100 years of diplomatic relations between Poland and Brazil.
