Philippine police raided a business establishment suspected of selling overpriced face masks in Manila on Friday.

The raid happened after the Department of Health announced the country's first confirmed case of a deadly new virus.

Other stores in the capital have sold out of face masks amid the coronavirus outbreak.

China, where the virus originated, has reported 9,692 confirmed cases with a death toll of 213 as of Friday, and the World Health Organization has declared the outbreak a global emergency.
