Protests in German cities against coronavirus restrictions

Thousands gathered in cities across Germany on Saturday in demonstrations against the federal government's restrictions put in place to tackle the new coronavirus pandemic.

Several protesters were arrested by authorities after limits on how many people could gather in an area were breached.
