Families of the 62 people who were killed onboard the Sriwijaya Air jet that nosedived into the Java Sea on January 9th attend a memorial ceremony at the crash site.

People prayed near the water before tossing flower petals into the sea in memory of their loved ones. The 26-year-old jet had been out of service for almost nine months because of flight cutbacks caused by the coronavirus pandemic, officials said. It resumed commercial flights last month.
