Rescuers extract body from rubble of Indonesia quake

Rescue workers on Saturday recovered a body under the rubble in Mamuju, the Indonesian town hardest hit by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake the previous day.

Rescue workers on Saturday recovered a body under the rubble in Mamuju, the Indonesian town hardest hit by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake the previous day. The team carried it away in a black body bag. Friday's quake left at least 45 dead and hundreds injured on Sulawesi island.

More than 200 people are receiving treatment in the Bhayangkara police hospital. Rescue operations have been focused on about eight locations in Mamuju, where people are still believed to be trapped, according to officials.
