Russian Air Defence systems military drills in south of country

Russian Air Defence systems successfully repelled aerial strikes during joint military drills in the south of Russia, according to the Russian Defence Ministry.

The drills, expected to be held in Black Sea and Caspian sea waters, will take place until September 26.

Belarus, Armenia, China, Pakistan and Myanmar are taking part in the exercises.

Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tadjikistan and Sri Lanka have been invited to observe the drills.
