South Korea on Monday urged North Korea to abandon its plan to send anti-South Korean leaflets across the border. Unification ministry spokesperson Yoh Sangkey warned that Pyongyang's move risked worsening relations between the two countries.

South Korea recently stopped a group of activists from sending propaganda leaflets and aid packages to the North, after Pyongyang reacted harshly and blew up a border liaison building. Yoh said the North should take note of Seoul's position on the issue, and withdraw its plan.
