Car is stolen by a man from a carwash pretending to be its owner

In a separate incident, a thief in Enfield, London, had been caught on camera for stealing a car for a second time by pretending to be the owner from a carwash. The CCTV footage shows that the thief is getting inside of a BMW and then driving it away, nearly knocking down a man. The CCTV footage shows that the man attempting to steal the car closed the door of the car just as someone was walking towards the car. He then places his hand in the bonnet of the car as the worker tries to open the locked door. In order to not act suspicious, the thief pretended to be on the phone before stealing the car. According to reports, the man was witnessed stealing another car in Ilford and driving it away.

A few people on social media platforms were of the opinion that leaving one's keys in the ignition is a very easy way for a thief to steal someone else's car and a few people stated that keyless cars are the easiest to steal as you just need the door unlocked and then press a button to start the car and drive away with it.
