How would you feel if you find out you are the only on-board? Happy? elated? or scared? A similar experience happened with a Filipino woman, who was the only passenger on-board. Louisa Erispe, who took a Phillipine Airlines flight from Davao to Manila, found herself to be the only passenger on the flight.

While being on-board, she was the sole recipient of in-flight safety instructions from the stewardesses, who were surprised themselves. The woman, despite being the only traveler, had seven cabin crew members on-board, all for her sole convenience.

Possibly for the first time ever in her life, she was the only one to snack on the food and drinks served in the flight. The unusual quotient of the incident can be gauged from the fact, that her bag was the only piece of luggage at the conveyor belt.

Earlier in a similar incident, Latsamy McAdoo, a passenger from Miami was traveling from Bangkok to Koh Samui, also reported herself to be alone on-board.

In a video from January, 2018, which she shared on social media, Latsamy is seen dancing through the aisles.

" It was an early morning flight so I was a bit out of it. I boarded first because I had a business seat and was looking at my phone so I only noticed when a flight attendant shut the door and no other passengers were on board. I asked if she was shutting the door due to rain as it was a flight without a jet but she stated no, they were done with boarding," she told local media".

Similarly, Steven Schneider also found himself to be sole passenger aboard a flight home to Atlanta, he sat back and relaxed. Mr Schneider, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, had arrived at the airport in New Orleans last week to discover he was the only passenger waiting to board.

When he made inquiries, he was told that because the flight had been delayed twice, other passengers had decided to take an earlier flight or else wait unit the next day. Mr Schneider was given the same choice but decided to proceed with his scheduled journey.

"At first I felt really bad because I didn’t want the plane to only make the trip because of me,” he said. “But after talking to a flight attendant at the gate, she said the plane needed to go back to Atlanta anyway. She called this an empty leg flight.”

Mr Schneider took the opportunity to pose for a picture inside the all but empty aircraft, a 160-seat MD-90.
