Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday said the supply of power remained difficult in vast swathes of the country after Russia unleashed yet another missile barrage on Ukraine's electricity grid.

"It is still the most difficult in the capital and 15 regions: Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi," Zelenskyy said in his nightly address.

It's estimated about 50% of the country's energy facilities have been affected by the recent strikes.

In response to the outages, Zelenskyy said that more than 4,300 so-called 'Points of Invincibility' have been set up across the country.

There, residents can access power, warmth, and basic needs.

Zelenskyy also spoke about his address to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe where, just like his address the day before to the UN Security Council, he called for reforms to do away with veto power and unanimity so that aggressor member states of those institutions could be held accountable.
