A handful of workers in full protective gear sprayed Calcium Hypochlorite around one of the hotspots of infections in Caracas.

There are 5,971 positive cases in Caracas, making the leading city on COVID-19 cases in Venezuela, according to figures explained Friday by president Nicolás Maduro.

Venezuela has 24,166 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 208 related deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
