Colombia's presidential office announced Tuesday that First Lady María Juliana Ruiz Sandoval has tested positive for the coronavirus and is asymptomatic.
Both she and President Iván Duque are regularly tested, given the large number of people they interact with on a frequent basis.
Duque's test came back negative.
Ruiz Sandoval is isolating in accordance with Ministry of Health regulations.

Colombia has confirmed over 1,200,000 COVID-19 cases of the virus and 35,677 deaths.
