Prince Harry 'saddened' by Warrior Games cancellation

Prince Harry offered condolences to US service members Monday for the cancellation of the Warrior Games.

The Warrior Games is an Olympics-style event for injured active duty and retired members of the US armed forces.

The Defense Department announced last month that the games would be cancelled due to COVID concerns.

"As far as most of us concerned, you guys have already won," said Prince Harry.

Inspired by the Warrior Games, Prince Harry founded the Invictus games, a similar competition for overseas service members.
