UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday announced a further easing of coronavirus restrictions in England, which will allow pubs, restaurants and hairdressers to reopen from 4 July.

The intention was other "close contact" services, such as nail bars, will be allowed to restart business provided they do so in a safe way, he said.

Johnson also announced campsites will be allowed to reopen, as long as shared washing facilities and toilets are kept clean.

However, indoors facilities, such as gyms, bowling alleys and water parks, will have to remain closed until further noticed.

The two-metre social distancing rule will be reduced to one meter, but people should still stay two metres apart where possible, the prime minister said.
