British opposition leader Keir Starmer on Wednesday accused prime minister Boris Johnson of sitting on a damning intelligence committee report on Russian meddling in the UK politics for 10 months, despite the threat to national security being "immediate and urgent".

The clash came during prime minister's questions in parliament.

Johnson replied that the government had taken "the strongest possible action" against Russia when he was Foreign Secretary and pointed his finger at Starmer for doing nothing "while the Labour Party parroted the line of the Kremlin when people in this country were poisoned at the orders of Vladimir Putin."
