Virus stretches UK hospitals, schools closure demands

The UK Government was facing calls from teaching unions on Saturday to keep schools across the country closed as coronavirus cases in many areas of the nation continued to surge.

It comes after the Education Secretary Gavin Williamson confirmed that all London primary schools will remain shut next week.
