A group of students idled by the new coronavirus outbreak have gone back to the classroom in the UK to produce protective equipment for National Health Service (NHS) doctors and nurses on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19.

The students are designing the mask face visors and printing them off on 3D printers.

They are using crowd funding to pay for the materials and delivery and are handing them out to NHS staff for free.
